Plan One: WatchDog™ Home Desktop Care
- WATCHDOG Technology Platform
- Antivirus and Antispyware licenses, updates, daily scans, and automatic protection
- Automatic installlation of Microsoft's monthly Critical Updates, filtered through a "whitelist" to make sure updates don't break anything
- Automatic, twice-weekly removal of Temporary Files and Internet Debris
- Twice-weekly Hardware and Software Inventory
- Twice-weekly Logical Disk inspection and Disk Space check
- Remote Control capabilities for either permission-based or unattended remote control
- Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Vista are supported
Plan Two: WatchDog™ Home Desktop Care Plus
- Everything in Plan One, plus:
- Continuous Data Protection: Always-on backups always-on backups of your important data files. A special backup program runs behind the scenes, and watches for any changes you make to files. Once it detects that the computer is not busy, it immediately backs up the changed files. This happens all day long, every day. And backups are encrypted and safely stored in an Internet vault, so you not only have on-going, all-day backups, but you have the added safety of having those backups stored encrypted, and off-site. Desktop, laptop… whatever, wherever. If the machine has a broadband Internet connection, it will be backed up!
Plan Three: WatchDog™ Total Home Desktop Care
Everything in Plan One and Plan Two, plus:
Twice-Annual Complete Computer Tune-Ups, including (at a minimum):
- Deep Cleaning - cleanup of all unnecessary files, including clutter in the critical Registry file
- Startup Check - review and removal of unnecessary background applications that are starting up every time your computer starts – and slowing things down
- Application Check – review and removal of unnecessary or unused applications, which will free up disc space and reduce memory consumption
- Deep Defragmentation - Defragmentation of the Registry file, all of your System startup files, and Smart Placement of all files on the hard drive to maximize driver performance
- Deep Antivirus and Antispyware scans – We run your system through several additional antivirus and/or antispyware utilities, which overlap and help make sure that your system is clean of malware
- Microsoft Product Updates – All additional Microsoft product updates that are not considered “critical” (and automatically applied in Plan One) are downloaded and applied
- Complete Hard Drive Inspections – Complete check of your hard drive, including correcting “bad sectors” or other problems which can slow down access to data on your drive
